Ted will be attending the Management and Leadership Conference of NHPCO being held in Washington D.C. on April 22-24, 2010.  In conjunction with this event, Ted will also be attending the Founders Ball of the National Hospice Foundation.  This black-tie event raised $500,000 for the Foundation in 2009.  Details are available at

2010 March on Washington and Law Symposium

Ted will be speaking at the upcoming National Association for Home Care & Hospice “2010 March on Washington and Law Symposium.  The event will be held on April 11-14, 2010 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washginton D.C.  Additional details regarding this event and the entire educational programming is available at www.nahc.org.  Ted is a member of the Financial Managers Forum of NAHC and is a charter member of HHFMA.

Ted to Speak at North Carolina Association of CPAs Healthcare Conference

Ted has accepted an invitation to speak at the North Carolina Association of CPAs 2010 Healthcare Industry Conference.  This year’s conference is being held in Greensboro, North Carolina on June 17-18, 2010.  Attendees include CPAs and healthcare executives.  Additional information regarding the program can be located at www.ncacpa.org.

Ted Invited to Participate in Strategic Planning Congress

Ted has been invited and will participate in the National Association for Home Care (“NAHC”) 2010 Strategic Planning Congress.  This Congress brings together the best minds in the home health and hospice industries.  The event is being held at the Ritz Carleton in Key Biscayne, Florida on February 11-12, 2010.

2010 Health Services Publishing Conference Scheduled

Ted is pleased to announce that Health Services Publishing & Management has finalized details for the 2010 program to be held at the Rio Suites, Las Vegas, NV, on November 1-3, 2010.  The program will include two-day programs for home health agencies, hospices, and critical access hospitals.  Additionally, a special one-day program will be provided on healthcare financial reporting for external and internal management use.  Ted will be presenting the two-day hospice program and the one-day program on financial reporting.  Please contact tcuppett@dixon-hughes.com or mfittro@dixon-hughes.com for additional information.  Program information, once published, is available at www.healthspm.com.

Hospice 2020 Presentations

Ted will be speaking at the HospiceCare 2020 regional hospice educational programs offered by ProCareRx, a national pharmacy benefit managament company.  These programs are available to hospice and community professionals.  Program dates are as follows:

Dallas, TX – April 16, 2010; St.Louis, MO – May 6, 2010; Duluth, GA – June 17, 2010; San Francisco, CA – July 16, 2010; Pittsburgh, PA – August 13, 2010; and Albany, NY – September 17, 2010.
